About Us

In the autumn of 1998, we started a short series of jazz concerts in church, with encouragement from our then vicar, David Tuck. Various musicians played for us, amongst them Humphrey Lyttelton and Martin Klute. We did not expect that annual jazz seasons would be going from strength to strength in Pinner Parish Church so many years later! Welcome...

Pinner Jazz

Tim Lapthorn Trio

Saturday 8th March 2014

It’s become a regular routine for us to present a piano trio: just think of Nikki Iles, Leon Greening, David Gordon and way back, the Americans Tardo Hammer and Junior Mance.

Pinner Jazz

Humphrey Lyttelton Band with special guest Alan Barnes

Saturday 12th April 2014

Citing Humph is just another way of reminding ourselves of his stellar place in the British jazz story.

Karen Sharp's Quartet was oustanding; brilliant support from Nikki, Dave and Steve. A wonderful evening. - Michael Wright

I would just like to say thanks for a brilliant evening in the wonderful, informal atmosphere at Pinner Jazz last night. Christian Brewer’s quintet was simply amazing. Sitting in the second row we felt completely immersed in all the outstanding performances. - M.R.

Another wonderful evening of jazz at Pinner Parish Church. The (Magnificent Seven) musicians were outstanding. - R.M.
